About this collection: Since my first trip to India, the ubiquitous presence of Om symbols (most of them in the Devanāgarī script) has made a lasting impression on me. This collection is my humble contribution in sharing the beauty and power of the Om symbol.

Creators: The Om graphics files on this page are not my own work. They were created by interested, dedicated and gifted people all over our planet. I have collected them over the years to give them a place in a collection of quality Om graphics, and to ensure they will be found by other people (and search engines).

Copyright: The images have either explicitely been put into the public domain by their creators (e.g., I found some on www.wikimedia.org) or I have asked the creators or copyright holders for permission to copy and place them on this web site for free access and non-commercial use. The permission has generously been granted. In my opinion, for me to ask for permission beforehand is only fair and I felt motivated to set an example.

Credits: I have given the creators their due credit on the links page if they accepted my suggestion to do so.

Possible Unintentional Copyright Infringement: In a few cases, I was unable to track down the source, because the original web site had disappeared since my first download and an extensive search did not turn up the graphics file again, or when there was no way to contact the creator, uploader or copyright owner, although I made every reasonably effort to ask for permission. In such a case, I used only medium-sized graphics so their inclusion in this collection would probably and reasonably be covered by the aspect of fair use. I do not intend to infringe anyone's copyright, so if you think that one of the pictures placed on this site violates your copyright, please contact the webmaster, and he will remove the picture in question quickly.
